OFR Symposium 2020
Introduction
Organizational Frontline Research Symposium, San Diego, 13-14 Feb 2020; Deadline 30 Sep
Dear ELMAR subscribers,
We would like to extend a special invitation for you to attend the
Organizational Frontline Research Symposium (OFR),
February 13th and 14th, 2020 in San Diego, immediately preceding the Winter ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Conference
Like our previous events, this symposium is intended to promote scholarship in the area of OFR, bringing together scholars and practitioners to discuss cutting edge ideas.
Given the limited number of academic presentations we can schedule, we are asking those who are interested in presenting to submit a brief PowerPoint proposal by September 30th. Each proposal will be reviewed by a committee of academics who will make a decision by October 15, 2019.
Guidelines for Proposal Submission:
We encourage you to submit your best frontline work, including research on service and sales across B2B, B2C and B2G. While the 2020 OFR Symposium will highlight different perspectives on the frontline across disciplines, we welcome all frontline-related topics.
The submissions should be in the form of about 10 slides that include the following:
- Problem – identify the problem addressed and why it is important for OFR
- Approach –outline your approach (e.g., framework, research design, data)
- Results – highlight your key results
- Implications for Practice – specify how your results can help practitioners make decisions
Submissions should also include the name of all coauthors and their university affiliations. Submission to the conference does not preclude your work from being published by any journal. Submissions should be sent to the following email address: j.van.doorn@rug.nl.
