Introduction

PhD summer school in design science methodology, University of St. Gallen, 18-21 Jun 2019

Are you interested in Design Science Research methodology on PhD level, but no course is offered at your institution? After two successful Design Science PhD summer schools in 2017 and 2018, the third PhD Design Science summer school will be held again at the University of St. Gallen from June 18-21, 2019 (four full days plus preparation tasks).

The summer school is part of the International ProDok PhD course programme organized by the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB). Enrolment preference is given to VHB members, but usually there are places available for non-members.

Upon successful preparation and participation, the association will certify 6 ECTS (grading is optional). The summer school will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke (University of Liechtenstein) and Prof. Dr. Robert Winter (University of St. Gallen). Both have been conference chairs of DESRIST (International Design Science Research) conferences, programme/track chairs of ICIS/ECIS conferences and are senior editors of leading IS journals.

The syllabus of the Design Science summer school and further information (like requirements, participation fee) are available at
