Robert J. Lavidge Global Marketing Research Award
Nominations are now open for The Robert J. Lavidge Global Marketing Research Award. Brought to you by the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation, this award recognizes a marketing practitioner or educator who has devised and successfully implemented a research or insight procedure that has practical implications for use by others. The research or insight procedure must have been implemented within the preceding five calendar years. Valuing Diversity Ph. D. Scholarship
The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation is now accepting applications for its Valuing Diversity PH.D. Scholarship Program, an initiative established in 2003 that focuses on creating scholarship funds for populations underrepresented in the marketing profession. Through this scholarship fund, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation seeks to widen the opportunities for underrepresented populations to attend marketing doctoral programs. For the upcoming academic year, several $1,000 scholarships will be granted to students currently enrolled in Ph.D. programs. Williams-Qualls-Spratlen (WQS) Award: Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence:
The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation is now accepting nominations for its annual WQS Award, which recognizes outstanding mentors of people of color in the academic marketing community. Individuals receiving this award will have demonstrated exceptional ability in guiding the academic and/or professional growth of his/her students and junior colleagues in marketing. Award recipients will also have had a sustained career commitment to mentoring as well as a significant positive impact on their mentees’ careers. Moreover, through their mentees, they will have advanced research and education on issues where racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity intersect with the discipline and practice of marketing. The Leonard L. Berry Marketing Book Award
The Leonard L. Berry Marketing Book Award recognizes books whose innovative ideas have had a significant impact on marketing and related fields. Exceptional marketing books that have set the standard for excellence and that have been published within the previous three years (2016-2018) are eligible for consideration.
