Organizational Frontline Research Symposium, Austin, TX, 21-22 Feb 2019

Registration is now open for limited spots on the 5th annual Organizational Frontline Research (OFR) Symposium, in Austin, TX on February 21-22, 2019 (immediately preceding and in the same hotel as the Winter ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø) at the following link:

The OFR Symposium brings together a small group of scholars and practitioners who are interested in working together to advance the study of interfaces and interactions in the frontlines of organizations.

The theme for the 5th OFR is Digital Interfaces and is highlighted by:

  • Plenary sessions with IBM and Dell
  • Academic-Practitioner Collaborative Panel featuring practitioners from, among others, Fujitsu, Penske, SAP and UPS with MSI participation
  • Young Scholar Research Competition Award Winner Presentations sponsored by Center for Sales Excellence (UNL), Center for Service Leadership (ASU), and OFR Founding Chairs; followed by MSI Commentary & Supporting Outstanding OFR.
  • Academic panel session "AI in Frontline Interactions" lead by Roland Rust
    • Panel members include: Ming-Hui Huang, PK Kannan, and Roland Rust
  • Academic speakers including Lisa Scheer, Martin Mende, Dwayne Gremler, Clay Voorhees, and Brad Carlson, among others
  • Boat cruise dinner/reception

The OFR Symposium will officially start on February 21st (Thursday) at 8am with IBM as our first speaker so we recommend you arrive in Austin on Wednesday (20st). On Wednesday evening there are no formal dinner plans or events so please feel free to arrive when you want.
