Williams-Qualls-Spratlen Award

The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation is pleased to announce the winner of the 2018 Williams-Qualls-Spratlen Multicultural Award of Excellence: Terry L. Esper. Dr. Terry L. Esper is Associate Professor of Logistics at the Fisher College of Business of The Ohio State University.

The Williams-Qualls-Spratlen Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence (WQS) carries on the legacy of three world class marketing scholars, educators, and mentors of people of color: Jerome Williams, William (Bill) Qualls, and Thaddeus H. Spratlen. Mentorship is one of the most important determinants of a successful career in marketing, yet it is often a component of career development that, while prized by recipients, is rarely rewarded. In recognition of the value the field of marketing places on mentorship, the WQS Award recognizes the outstanding mentors in the market community in the mold of Williams, Qualls, and Spratlen.
