Year round experiential student assignment using AdWords with a nonprofit

Please note that the Google Online Marketing Challenge is back, re-positioned as the .
Unlike the prior Challenge, this student experience runs year round.Your students will gain real-world experience, creating and executing online marketing campaigns for real nonprofits. Teams will have a $10,000 USD monthly budget of in-kind AdWords advertising credit through the Google Ad Grants program. This global academic program brings two worlds together, partnering students and nonprofits, to support digital skill development and drive positive change around the world.
Participating teams of 2-5 students would earn
- experience working with a nonprofit
- experience developing and then managing a four-week advertising campaign
- experience spending up to US$ 10,000 monthly in advertising for a real client
- experience crafting reports for their non-profits
- a nice line on their CV
- hands on search engine marketing skills
- a Google Ad Grants Certificate of Recognition for successful teams
Google will provide
- the non-profit client
- a wealth of online resources, including tutorials with Google certificates
- up to US$10,000 USD in in-kind AdWords advertising credit
- opportunities for publicizing and promoting top-performing teams
Professors will have
