Introduction

A message from the incoming editorial team at the Journal of Marketing

Dear Colleague:

We are honoured and excited to lead the Journal of Marketing (JM). While our official start date is not until July 1, 2018, we started handling new submissions on May 11th.

We encourage you to submit your best work to JM!

We are open to strong substantive research in marketing regardless of topic, theory, or method. JM’s focus on real-world marketing problems and questions puts the emphasis on marketing above all. You can read our full editorial philosophy here.

We have recruited an outstanding team. Our Editorial team, Associate Editors, and Editorial Review Board members were selected to create the depth and breadth of expertise needed to ensure your paper is handled by experts (see the list of our AEs below).

We have the audience. JM has a broader and more extensive reach relative to the other top marketing journals.

We want to publish more papers. One of our goals is to publish more papers in the journal, while maintaining quality standards. If you are working on a paper that addresses an important marketing topic, we would like to see your paper at JM.

Please feel free to contact us in case you have questions. We look forward to seeing your submissions.

Harald van Heerde, Co-editor Desiginate
