Introduction

The Carolan Insitute invites proposals from doctoral students and junior faculty on everyday customer actions; Deadline 15 Jun 2018

The Carolan Research Forum invites doctoral students and junior faculty at doctoral degree-granting institutions to enter a research initiative aimed to further our understanding of everyday customer actions. Proposals should involve empirical research that seeks to further our understanding of the antecedents of prospective consumers’ behaviors within the framework of Dr. Geraldine Fennell’s ideas.

Up to five proposals will be selected to receive funding from the CRF. Selected proposals will receive:

  • Up to $15,000 for research-related expenses, including but not limited to recruiting and compensating research subjects, funding for third-party researchers, acquiring data from privately held sources, and publication costs for disseminating the research results.
  • The opportunity to present their research findings at UTSA in San Antonio, Texas in Spring, 2019 with travel costs covered by the CRF.
  • Additional travel support of up to $500 for travel to national marketing conferences such as ACR, ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø, SCP, etc. where the proposed research ideas will be presented.
