Summer school on economic psychology and experimental economics
Saratov, The Russian Federation, July 4-10, 2018

The Laboratory of Economic Behavior of the Center of Psycho-Economic Researches is organizing a summer school on economic psychology and experimental economics. The goal of the summer school is to give young researchers the opportunity to learn more on the growing fields of behavioral and experimental economics, economic psychology and judgment and decision making. Topics will include for example heuristics and biases, relative thinking, economic attitudes, tax compliance, decision making in sports, etc.

Some participants may be offered an opportunity to join a research project.

Preliminary program

• July 4: Arrival day (an afternoon lecture)
• July 5-7: Lectures, meetings with lecturers and other activities
• July 8: Social and cultural activities
• July 9: Lectures, meetings with lecturers and other activities
• July 10: Departure day (a morning lecture)

Participants are expected to attend the entire program.

Application procedure

Applicants without a Ph.D. should be enrolled in an MA program (at an advanced stage) or in a Ph.D. program.

1. CV (in your own format or in the attached format).

2. A one-page letter describing your research interests and reasons for attending the summer school. Applicants who did not obtain their Ph.D. yet should have their faculty advisor sign their letter (electronic signatures are possible).

Please send the materials by May 1, 2018.

Acceptance decisions will be communicated by May 11, 2018.

For applicants from countries that require visa to enter The Russian Federation, the organizers will provide the necessary documents.

Registration fees

• Early registration fee (by May 20, 2018): 150 Euros.
• Late registration fee (by May 31, 2018): 200 Euros.

Registration fees include accommodation for the duration of the summer school (arrival on July 3 or 4, departure on July 10 or 11), lunches, coffee breaks, social activities, academic material, etc.

We will offer up to 15 fellowships of 150 Euros (i.e., early registration fee waiver) for applicants based on merit or need.
