45^th Annual Conference
Northeast Business & Economics Association

Competitive papers, detailed abstracts, proposals for panels, symposia, tutorials and workshops in all subspecialties of business and economics are invited for peer review and presentation at the 45th Annual Conference of the NBEA. The conference provides a forum for a wide range of papers addressing all areas of business and economics.

Guidelines for Submission:

Authors may submit abstracts (2-4 pages), full papers or proposals for workshops or panels. All submissions must be through Microsoft Academic Conference Management Service’ NBEA site:

Please submit files in MS Word only and do not identify author(s) in the body of the uploaded submission file (for blind peer review). Upload a separate file containing the title of the paper and the following information about each author: name and affiliation; address and phone number; and e-mail address. For papers with multiple authors, correspondence will be with the author submitting the paper. Please also indicate desired primary and (optional) secondary track designation.

Acceptances and Proceedings:

Proceedings will be electronically published after the end of the Conference and will consist of papers, workshop descriptions and panel summaries PRESENTED in the Conference. A Proceedings template with publication requirements and guidelines is available at . Please submit your completed papers by August 15 in the proper format.

Best Paper Awards:

Authors are encouraged to submit their work for the Best Paper Awards for: (1) regular faculty and (2) junior faculty – doctoral students. Eligibility for the awards are restricted to full papers received by August 30, 2018.

Registration Fee:

The registration fee is discounted to the rate of $200 if payment is made before August 15, 2018 and $250 after August 15. Student and emeritus faculty registration fees are $100 before August 15 and $125 after August 15.
