Although the Academy of Marketing Science instituted a policy against deadline extensions, we believe the circumstances this year are special and unique. Given the disruption caused by Hurricanes Harvey and now Irma, to both those directly and those indirectly affected by the events, the deadline for submissions for the 2018 AMS Annual Conference to be held in New Orleans, LA next May 23-26 has been extended to Monday, September 25. Address any specific queries about submissions to the corresponding track chair (see AMS wishes to extend thoughts and prayers to those dealing with the results of these natural disasters.
As of now, we are not officially extending the deadline (October 1) for the 2018 AMS World Marketing Congress to be held in Porto, Portugal, next June 27 – June 30, but, if you are planning a submission and believe you need a little extra time, contact the corresponding track chair (see ) and request a delay.
