JPSSM Announces 2016 Annual Award Winners

The Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management is pleased to announce the following recipients of its annual awards, as voted by its Senior Advisory Board and Editorial Review Board:

  • The 2016 JAMES M. COMER AWARD for Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management Theory goes to Wyatt Schrock (University of West Virginia), Yanhui Zhao (University of Nebraska-Omaha), Douglas E. Hughes (Michigan State University), and Keith Richards (Baylor University) for their article “JPSSM Since the Beginning: Intellectual Cornerstones, Knowledge Structure, and Thematic Developments” .
  • The 2016 MARVIN JOLSON AWARD for Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management Practice goes to Jeff Johnson (University of Missouri – Kansas City), Scott Friend (Miami University), and Avinash Malshe (University of St. Thomas) for their article “article “Mixed Interpretations of Sales Proposal Signals”.
  • The 2016 JPSSM BEST REVIEWER AWARD goes to Dr. Scott Friend (Miami University).
