2017 Global Fashion Management Conference at Vienna

Selected papers from the submissions to the “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management” track of ‘2017 Global Fashion Management Conference at Vienna’ (University of Vienna and Vienna City Hall, July 6th-9th, 2017) will be considered for possible publication in a special issue on “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management” of Journal of Global Sport Management ().

All papers submitted to this special issue must focus on “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management”. Theoretical, empirical and case based papers will be considered. The potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Fashion and luxury brand marketing in sport industry
  • Luxury sportswear brands
  • Sportswear brand and sports sponsorship
  • Athlete fashion models and sports marketing
  • Fashion merchandising of sport product
  • Sportswear brand communications
  • Sports fashion merchandising
  • Global and interdisciplinary research issues

Submissions:

  1. Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: 6th January, 2017
    • Authors should submit their extended abstracts to the chair of “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management” track at the 2017 Global Fashion Management Conference at Vienna to be qualified for this JGSM Special Issue.
    • Submission Guidelines for the extended abstract to 2017 GFMC at Vienna are located at:

       

    • Please submit a single MS Word file to the above e-mail address of the track chair.
  2. Full paper submission deadline: 1st September, 2017
    • Authors should submit their full papers to the Guest Editor of this JGSM Special Issue on “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management” through the ‘ScholarOne Manuscript portal for the JGSM’ () to be reviewed for publication in the special issue.
    • Submissions will undergo a double blind, peer review process. Manuscripts must follow submission guidelines of the JGSM ()
    • Preference will be given to submissions that:
      • Accepted by the chair of “Fashion, Marketing, and Communication in Sport Management” track in 2017 GFMC at Vienna
      • Registered for the 2017 GFMC at Vienna
      • Presented in the 2017 GFMC at Vienna
