JPSSM CALL FOR PROPOSALS: 2018 Review Issue

Douglas E. Hughes, Incoming Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management

The editorial team of JPSSM invites scholars engaged in sales research to submit proposals for articles to be included in a 2018 special issue of JPSSM devoted to articles that provide integrative, actionable, and high-impact reviews of the literature dealing with important topics in personal selling and sales management.

Proposals should be a maximum of 5 pages double-spaced (excluding references, tables/figures, and appendices) and clearly communicate the following:

  • Topic to be covered and its importance to the sales domain
  • The relevance to the field of an integrative review on this particular topic (i.e., your intended contribution)
  • Scope of the undertaking
  • Expected implications to scholars and practitioners
  • Anticipated direction for future research

Proposals will be evaluated by the editorial team. Once proposals are accepted, authors will have six months to submit full manuscripts. Submissions will be peer reviewed on an accelerated timeline with an orientation of helping authors refine and improve the manuscript to a publication-worthy standard.

Proposals should be submitted to the online JPSSM Scholar One manuscript system
