here is the abbreviated info:

  • Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • PDW Dates: February 27- 28, 2017.
  • Conference Dates: March 1 – 2, 2017
  • Submission Deadline: October 20, 2016

We invite submissions of theory papers, empirical research (including ethnographic and qualitative research) as well as panel and paper symposia that advance knowledge from diverse disciplines, including: social, environmental & sustainable entrepreneurship, business ethics, firm-community ties, corporate impact on society and policy, and resource management.

We are particularly interested in radical, controversial, and edgy projects; novel, useful, and non-obvious research that challenges dogmas and is highly revelatory, even if not fully grounded in well-studied or well-validated theory.

Professional Development Workshop (PDW): Assistant Professors and Ph.D. students are invited to apply for the Journal of Management Studies’ PDW, which will feature a favorable ratio of senior scholars to participants and will facilitate paper development sessions, and other workshops.

Funding: Pending approval, a stipend to PDW participants will cover the registration fee for the PDW and the academic conference.
