The SIG's Emerging Scholar Award goes to Derick F. Davis
The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Retail & Pricing SIG is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2016 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Retail and Pricing Special Interest Group Emerging Scholar Award. The Emerging Scholar Award (formerly known as the Young Scholar Award) was established to recognize the contributions of emerging scholars in the areas of retailing and pricing. The nomination process included recommendation letters from colleagues and a review of scholarly activity. Nominations were reviewed by a panel of three distinguished scholars. We would like to formally announce this year’s recipient:
2016 Young Scholar Award:
Derick F. Davis, Ph.D., McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia
The award recipient will be presented with a plaque of recognition at the Summer Educator’s Conference in Atlanta, GA, August 5-7, 2016. The awards ceremony will take place on the evening on August 6, 2016 during the Retail and Pricing SIG reception. We hope you will attend the SIG reception to honor the recipient of the Emerging Scholar Award. Congratulations Derick!
