Retailing Management / 10e

Introduction

Bart Weitz, Dhruv Grewal and Michael Levy seek case contributions for their textbook; Deadline 1 Oct 2016

Dear Colleague,

Bart Weitz, Dhruv Grewal and I are in the process of revising our textbook, Retailing Management, 10e. As you may know we include short cases at the end of the book. We would be very interested in your case contribution. If you have an idea for a case, just send me an email or give me a call and we can discuss it. If you already have a case prepared, please send it to me, along with the teaching note. If included in the book, your name and college affiliation will be included both with the case and in the acknowledgements. We would like to have your submission by October 1, 2016.

Before submitting, please take a look at the text and the cases at the end of the book in Section V. If you do not have a text, contact your McGraw-Hill representative (you can find your rep here:

),

and he or she will provide you with a copy and access to the online materials. It will give you an idea of the subject matter that is covered and the types and style of cases we have used in the past. It is critical that any case submission be directly related to textual material and have clear and specified learning objectives. In fact, we have found in the past that it is best to start with learning objectives and/or discussion questions, and then write the case.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,

Michael
