Introduction

Sandy Jap has won the 2016 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Interorganizational SIG's Lifetime Achievement Award

We are pleased to announce the 2016 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø IOSIG lifetime award recipient is Sandy Jap, Professor of Marketing, Goizueta Business School, Emory University. Professor Jap is a globally recognized and highly cited scholar with a sustained record of research excellence and originality, with her work on pie expansion and reverse auctions being particularly notable. Her work has earned her numerous academic awards as well as recognition in the practice community, including The Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine, and Harvard Business Review. Her recently published book, Partnering with the Frenemy, has been well received and promises to be highly influential. In addition, she has a sustained record of service to the field, including significant review board responsibilities and leadership positions in a number of important ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø committees and elsewhere.

The selection committee for the Award included Shantanu Dutta (University of Southern California), Jan Heide (University of Wisconsin), and Gary Lilien (Pennsylvania State University and Committee Chair).
