The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation (ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍøF) named Sarang Sunder as the winner of the 2015 John A. Howard/ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Doctoral Dissertation award for his dissertation “Measuring the Lifetime value of a Customer in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry.” The John A. Howard/ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Doctoral Dissertation has recognized noteworthy marketing dissertations for more than 50 years.
Sarang Sunder pursued his doctoral education at Georgia State University and conducted his doctoral dissertation research under the supervision of Professor V Kumar. This research will be published soon in the Journal of Marketing Research.
He is currently an assistant professor of marketing at the Neeley School of Business, Texas Christian University. His research focuses on applying rigorous statistical methodologies to answer relevant marketing questions. Specifically, he uses state-of-the-art econometric, and Bayesian methodologies to address substantive issues in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Diffusion modeling, Emerging Markets, and Salesforce Management.
