Converse Award Winners
Introduction
Ajay Kohli, Robert Lusch, Steven Shugan, and Kannan Srinivasan will receive Paul D. Converse Awards
The University of Illinois award committee for the 19th Paul D. Converse Award is very pleased to announce that Ajay Kohli, Robert Lusch, Steven Shugan, and Kannan Srinivasan are recipients of the 19th Paul D. Converse award. The Converse award was established in 1946 by ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø to honor “those who have contributed significantly to the theory of marketing and toward the advancement of science in marketing.” Fortune magazine has described the recipients of these awards as belonging to the “Marketing Hall of Fame.” The Converse Award is given every four years.
This year’s race for the 19th Converse award was very competitive, and the award committee received many excellent nominees. Past Converse award winners as well as University of Illinois Marketing faculty voted to select the best candidates to join the “Marketing Hall of Fame.” The 19th Paul D. Converse Symposium will be held on April 21-23, 2016 at University of Illinois. A detailed schedule can be found at:
