Revisit: Macromarketing 2016

Introduction

Update from the Marketing History Track, Trinity College Dublin, 13-15 Jul 2016; Deadline 31 Jan

Marketing History Track, 2016 Macromarketing Conference

Unfortunately, mention of the Marketing History Track did not make the Original Call For Submissions for the 2016 Macromarketing Conference to be held in Dublin July 13-15, 2016. That now has been taken care of but we are doing whatever else we can to spread the word. For more information on the full scope of this always intellectually exciting Conference, please visit the Macromarketing 2016 web site.

Marketing History: Thought and Practice

Track Chairs, Kim McKeage, Hamline University & Stanley J. Shapiro, Simon Fraser University

Marketing History has long been a core theme and central concern of macromarketing. Once again, this track welcomes any and all papers that explore the historical dimensions of either marketing thought or marketing practice in both developed and developing economies. Given the "academic activism" theme of this Macromarketing Conference, papers exploring such topics as food riots, consumer boycotts and the like or that report on the lives and/or thought of consumer/academic activists and social reformers would be especially welcome. Either complete papers or extended abstracts can be submitted either to Kim McKeage (kmckeage01@hamline.edu) or Stan Shapiro (sshapiro@sfu.ca). If in doubt but interested, don’t hesitate to contact us.
