Dear Colleagues,

Please consider submitting a proposal for a paper, case study, PechaKucha or tutorial session for EPIC 2016. EPIC is the premier international gathering on ethnography and design in the business world, promoting the use of ethnographic principles to create business value.

This year’s conference will be held at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from August 29th to September 1st. EPIC 2016 is co-sponsored by the Department of Anthropology and the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

The deadline for all proposals is February 19, 2016. Notifications for accepted proposals will be April 23, 2016, with drafts of accepted papers, cases, PechaKuchas and tutorials due June 4th and final submissions on August 15th (for publication).

Details on how to submit proposals and the criterion for selecting proposals are available at the EPIC 2016 website:

2016 will be my 4th EPIC. It’s a fantastic chance to interact with practitioners, academics and students who are using ethnographic methods to solve various management, business and societal challenges. I strongly encourage you to consider participating in EPIC 2016!

Sincerely,

Gary
