6th ADVANCES IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT (AHTMM) CONFERENCE

Following the success of the previous five Advances in Hospitality and Tourism Marketing and Management (AHTMM) conferences held in Turkey, Greece, Taiwan and Mauritius and Japan respectively, the 6th AHTMM conference will be held in Guangzhou, China from July 14 – 17, 2016 along with the Chinese National Hospitality Business Management Simulation Competition (please visit for more information about the simulation).

The goal of the conference will be to thoroughly examine contemporary hospitality and tourism issues, stimulate dialogue, and develop new perspectives in the field of hospitality and tourism within the globalized environment. The conference invites conceptual, empirical, and methodological research papers, and country context case studies on different tourism and hospitality themes. Papers and presentations are expected to address both the theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of tourism and hospitality marketing and management. Publication Opportunities

All submitted papers will follow a rigorous double-blind review process and will be accepted and published in the conference proceedings (CD version with ISBN) based on reviewers’ recommendations. Participants can publish either full papers or abstracts in the conference proceedings. In addition, selected full papers from the conference will be considered for publication in special issues of Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management and other selected tourism and hospitality journals.

  • Deadline for submission of full papers (5,000-6,000 words): 15 February 2016

Conference Venue

Guangzhou (Canton), a prosperous metropolis full of vigor, is the capital city of Guangdong Province located along the south coastline of China. Being an excellent port on the Pearl River navigable to the South China Sea, and with fast accessibility to Hong Kong and Macau, the city serves as the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center in Guangdong area.
