Introduction
Shantanu Dutt has won the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Interorganizational SIG's Lifetime Achievement Award
We are pleased to announce this year’s IOSIG lifetime award recipient is Shantanu Dutta, Dave and Jeanne Tappan Chair, and Professor of Marketing at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Professor Dutta is a highly cited scholar with a sustained record of research excellence. His work on channel management, buyer-seller relations, product form decisions, and alliances and networks has been published in top journals in marketing, economics, and management. The selection committee was particularly impressed with the combination of breadth, depth, and originality of his research. It also noted his research comprised both empirical and conceptual articles. Shantanu also has a sustained record of service to the field, including significant review board responsibilities.
The selection committee for the Award included Joe Cannon (Colorado State University, Committee Chair), Jan Heide (University of Wisconsin), and Gary Lilien (Pennsylvania State University).
