SEM Conference and Workshop

Introduction

Summer SEM Conference & Workshop - An Insider's Perspective, Ruston, LA, 8-11 Jun 2015; Deadline 8 May

Dear Colleagues,

The bulk of academic research involves examining psychometric properties (measurement theory) or causal sequences (process theory). As such, the Department of Marketing & Analytics at Louisiana Tech University is pleased to host a 4-day structural equations modeling (SEM) conference and workshop led by Dr. Barry J. Babin on June 8-11, 2015.

The combination of program and workshop allows a customized approach focusing on basic concerns related to the attendees’ research. Not only will we focus on using software, but more importantly, the seminar provides a foundation that provides a basis for truly understanding what SEM does and why it is such a powerful tool for testing theory.

  • Topics include: Theoretical Aspects of SEM, Scale Development, Higher Order Factor Analysis, Goodness of Fit, Multiple Group Analyses, Basic Software Introductions.
  • Workshop includes: Presentations, Individual Consultations, Hands-on Work Emphasizing AMOS, Opportunities to Network with Other Attendees and Instructors, Proceedings of Abstracts Post-Conference.

If you or any of your colleagues and students are interested in attending this conference, please see the and for details. Please forward this announcement to those who may benefit from attending this conference.

For more information or questions, please contact Nina Krey or Joanne Tran at (318) 257-4012 or at SEMLaTech@gmail.com.
