1 Background
After the successful inaugural Regional Doctoral Colloquium, the University of Otago Marketing Department will hold the 2015 mid year Doctoral Colloquium in Dunedin, New Zealand from the 10th June (reception only) to the evening of the 12th June. The colloquium will primarily cater to New Zealand and East coast Australian PhD candidates, but will be open to international doctoral students. The target size is 50 students.
We will include Masters by thesis students in this colloquium. Midyear is a point in time that suits Masters students who typically undertake study in the academic year. Masters students will have their own break out stream.
The Doctoral Colloquium will be organized with a mix of plenary and break out sessions. Emphasis on developing a community of scholarship amongst the students across campuses will be a feature.
