Introduction
The JOURQUAL3 journal rankings are now out based on a sample of over 1,100 German, Austrian and Swiss academics
JOURQUAL: German ranking of marketing (and business) journals published.
Based on more than 60.000 individual ratings provided by more than 1,100 business scholars from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the JOURQUAL3 ranking (edited by Thorsten Hennig-Thurau, University of Muenster, and Henrik Sattler, University of Hamburg, in conjunction with the German Academic Association for Business Research) reports the perceived academic quality of 80+ scientific marketing journals (and along with about 550 other business journals). The ranking shows that JMR, JM, JCR, and MarkScience are also recognized in German-speaking countries as our discipline’s top journals (referred to as "A+" journals) and identifies JAP, IJRM, JAMS, JR, JSR, JPIM, and JCP as the "next-best" marketing journals ("A" journals). Only journals that gathered 25 or more individual ratings were included in the final ranking.
