Introduction
Summer Workshops in Advanced Research Methods, Tel Aviv, Jun, Jul 2015
In cooperation with the Center for Advanced Research methods and Analysis (CARMA — ), Tel Aviv University’s Graduate School of Business will once again be offering its summer methods workshop series. Designed to allow scholars in management and related fields to master state-of-the art methods, we will be offering the following three workshops this June and July:
- Meta-Analysis (Effect Size [ES], Calculation of Weighted ES, Fixed Models, Random Models, Categorical and Continuous Moderators, Funnel Plots and Publication Bias)
- Dates: June 23-25, 2015
- Instructor: Hannah R. Rothstein, Ph.D., Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College; Editor-in-Chief, Research Synthesis Methods
- Advanced Regression Analysis (Moderation, Mediation, Moderated-Mediation, Non-normal distribution, Propensity Score Analysis).
- Dates: June 28-July 1, 2015
- Instructors: Ayala Cohen, Ph.D. – Ind. Eng. & Management, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology; Director, Technion Statistics Lab Dana Vashdi, Ph.D. – School of Political Science, University of Haifa
- Theoretical & Methodological Foundations of Multilevel Research (Random Coefficient Models – HLM, rWG, ICC, Cross-level Effects, Cross-level Moderation, Growth Models – using the open source language R).
- Dates: July 5-7, 2015

Tuition is just $450 per workshop (with significant discounts offered to those registering for more than one workshop), but space is limited (priority will be given to those we were unable to accommodate last summer).
All three workshops will be offered at the Recanati School of Business Administration of Tel Aviv University.
