Lead Academic, Google Online Marketing Challenge

GOMC is a unique opportunity for students to experience and create online campaigns using Google AdWords and Google+. Over 65,000 students and professors from almost 100 countries have participated the GOMC in the past six years

Google provides a US$ 250 AdWords advertising budget for students to develop and run a three-week online advertising campaign for a business or non-profit organization. The teams that develop and communicate the most successful campaigns win awesome prizes, including trips to Google offices. Students can also participate in the optional Social Media Marketing category by creating and managing a Google+ Page for their clients over a five week period.

The Challenge is open to teams of three to six undergraduate or graduate students, regardless of their major. All students must register under a verified faculty member, lecturer or instructor currently employed by an accredited higher education institute. GOMC is open now; campaigns must end by 27 May 2015. Please visit  to learn more about the Challenge and how to participate.
