Steven Brown and Murali Mantrala, Appointed Co-editors of the Journal of Retailing
Steve Brown, University of Houston and Murali Mantrala, University of Missouri have been appointed co-editors of the Journal of Retailing effective January 1, 2015. The appointment was announced at the Editorial Review Board meeting at the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø’s Summer Educators Conference in San Francisco. These two distinguished scholars will provide strong leadership for the Journal of Retailing over the next three years.
Murali Mantrala is the Sam M. Walton Distinguished Professor of Marketing and Chair of the Marketing Department at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. More information can be obtained through the following link.
Steven P. Brown is the Bauer Professor of Marketing at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. More information can be obtained through the following link.
Steve and Murali take over from Shankar Ganesan, University of Notre Dame, who has done an exceptional job as editor of the Journal. Shankar has worked tirelessly to promote the Journal and enhance its quality. He has shown exceptional dedication and determination and he deserves the gratitude of the entire retailing community. The profession has benefited greatly from his three plus years as editor.
