MSQ Becomes JSTP
Introduction
Managing Service Quality will be renamed the Journal of Service Theory and Practice
Dear all,
We are very happy to share the news that the Thomson Reuteur’s Social Science Citation Index (SSCI, Impact Factor) of Managing Service Quality (MSQ) has gone up from 0.778 to 0.984 this year!
We are very satisfied with the small but gradual increase in the impact of the journal over the last few years. MSQ is growing from strength to strength, and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this success, namely authors, reviewers, readers, and members of the editorial board of MSQ.
From 2015, MSQ will be retitled as Journal of Service Theory and Practice (JSTP).
This new title, we believe, better reflects the wider scope of papers that have been published in MSQ over the years, and not only papers limited to service quality issues. MSQ has been publishing papers on service theory and practice for a number of years, and we believe that the new title will reinforce the aim of the journal to make a contribution to the broader field of service research.
We are looking forward to your continued support to MSQ – JSTP.
With best regards,
Chatura Ranaweere & Marianna Sigala
co-editors of MSQ
