Lilien Garners IOSIG Lifetime Award

Introduction

Gary L. Lilien has won the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Interorganizational SIG's Lifetime Achievement Award

Gary L. Lilien, Distinguished Research Professor of Management Science at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, earns the IOSIG’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. The selection committee gave the nod to Lilien over a strong set of nominees on the basis of over 40 years of high-level scholarship in the B2B arena. In addition to his productive duties as an editor and reviewer in the field, (with Dave Wilson and Irv Gross) Lilien founded the Institute for the Study of Business Markets (ISBM), launching an enterprise that would garner scores of business sponsors and support the research and academic formation of B2B scholars on five continents.

The IOSIG thanks everyone who nominated a very worthy slate of scholars for the award. We also thank the committee (Bob Dwyer, Ed Bond and Vishal Kashyap) for all their work in determining the winner. Please join the IOSIG on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. for the annual IOSIG members and friends reception at the San Francisco Marriott to congratulate Gary and to celebrate the 2014 Stern Award being conferred to Rob Palmatier, Lisa Scheer, and J.B. Steenkamp.
