The Marketing Strategy SIG is delighted to announce that Prof. Shrihari (Hari) Sridhar is the winner of the 2014 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research. A three member panel of past winners of Varadarjan and Mahajan awards found Prof. Sridhar’s research accomplishments to be highly remarkable and deserving of this year’s award. Hari is currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Pennsylvania State University, and also serves as program director (B2B Analytics) for the Institute for Study of Business Markets (ISBM). A 2009 Ph.D. from the University of Missouri, his research quantifies marketing-mix and marketing strategy effectiveness and determines optimal marketing-mix budgets and allocation. Hari’s research has been published in leading academic journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Retailing. His work has been featured in over 50 media outlets and recognized with a best paper award (Journal of Interactive Marketing). Hari has been identified as one of the most research productive scholars in premier ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø journals. He is a 2013 Marketing Science Institute Young Scholar and a previous ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Faculty Fellow. Congratulations to Hari Sridhar.
