Introduction

Two 5-day Summer School Sessions, University of Calabria, Experimental Research, 28 Jul-Aug 1, Structural Equation Modeling, 8-12 Sep 2014

We would like to share with the ELMAR Community information about two 5-day Summer Schools taught in English and organized by the Department of Business Administration and Law of the University of Calabria, Italy.

The Experimental Research summer school (July 28-August 1 2014) will teach participants how to design experimental studies to test causal relationships. Specifically, the course concerns experimental designs, manipulation of independent variables, and conditions to enhance internal validity. Participants will be also introduced to statistical analyses (e.g., t-test, ANOVA) of experimental data using SPSS during individual and group sessions. The lecturer is Irene Scopelliti, City University London.

The Structural Equation Modeling – Advanced summer school (September 8-12 2014) will teach participants to estimate advanced structural equations models including applications of multiple-group analysis, mediation and moderation analyses, and common method bias assessment. Participants will apply such models during individual and group sessions using LISREL 8.80. The lecturers are Gaetano "Nino" Miceli, University of Calabria, and Gian Luca Marzocchi, University of Bologna.
