Early bird registration for the 38th annual conference of the Marketing Educators’ Association, the premier marketing educators’ association dedicated to advancing the practice and scholarship of marketing education (www.marketingeducators.org), which will be held April 24-26, 2014 at The San Jose Marriott in the heart of the Silicon Valley.
Register by March 1, 2014 for the Marketing Educator’s Association in the heart of Silicon Valley for an early bird price of only $360 for those staying at the conference hotel. The 38th annual conference of the Marketing Educators’ Association, the premier marketing educators’ association dedicated to advancing the practice and scholarship of marketing education (), will be held April 24-26, 2014 at The San Jose Marriott in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Join us to share ideas and participate in discussions with colleagues who care about the practice and scholarship of marketing education. This year, there will be a special Friday Night event!
The emphasis of the 2014 Marketing Educators’ Association Conference will be on the latest topics dealing directly with marketing education—including classroom technology, current marketing trends (e.g. social media, analytics, creativity, managing group dynamics)—and will be comprised of both Competitive Papers, Special Sessions and the brand new position paper sessions. MEA participants at the 2013 Conference enjoyed a friendly atmosphere with colleagues from all across the United States and different countries around the world while engaging in discussions about cutting edge advances and future trends in marketing education and pedagogy. Conference registration includes 1. Admission to the conference and events, 2. a one-year subscription to the Journal of Marketing Education, and 3. the Thursday President’s reception and awards dinner, Friday lunch, and Friday and Saturday breakfasts.
The San Jose Marriott is located in the heart of the tech capital of the world, Silicon Valley. Laid out like a cultural campus with performing arts, edgy museums, and cutting-edge galleries nearby, San Jose’s downtown also provides easy access to unique and eclectic restaurants, coffeehouses, breweries, shopping, and activities for all ages. San Jose serves as the hub between the Monterey Peninsula, home to Pebble Beach, the 17 mile-drive, and the gorgeous Pacific Ocean, and San Francisco, home to all of the excitement that is the City by the Bay.
After March 1, 2014, the registration rate will be $400. For those not staying at the conference hotel, the registration rates will be $400 until March 1 and $425 thereafter.
