Young Scholar Achievement Award: Retail and/or Pricing

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Retail and Pricing SIG welcomes applications for the Retailing and Pricing SIG Young Scholar award. The award is to acknowledge contributions in the field of Retail and/or Pricing for young scholars (received PhD in 2008 or later).   A winner will be honored at the Summer ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø conference August 2014 in San Francisco, where the winner will be introduced and speak during the Retailing and Pricing SIG reception. 

Winners should have made contributions in the Pricing and/or Retail area. Nominations (self-nominations are welcome) should include a cover letter as to why the nominee is a good candidate for this award, a current CV, and at least one recommendation letter attesting to the nominee’s research impact and contribution in the areas of retail and/or pricing.

The deadline for nominations is April 1, 2014.  Nominees must be a member of the Retailing and Pricing SIG of the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø (ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø) at the time of application.

Please submit nominations to: Stephanie Lawson, Vice Chair of Membership Recruitment, Winthrop University, (lawsons@winthrop.edu). A panel of experts in the marketing academic retail and pricing fields will determine the Young Scholar Achievement Award winner.
