2014 Conference in partnership with Journal of Business Research Special Issue- Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Management

May 14-15, 2014, Taichung, Taiwan

The International Conference on Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Management in partnership with the special issue of Journal of Business Research (SSCI) will be held at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, on May 14–May 15, 2014. This year’s conference theme is “Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Management”. Empirical and qualitative manuscripts addressing the following issues are particularly welcome for the conference and special issue consideration regarding the topic “Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Management.” These topics include: case studies in practice, finance, accounting, tourism management, international trade, information management, marketing and public affairs management. Authors are encouraged to send manuscripts on those topics to the conference.

All workshop or conference submissions, reviewing and notification will be conducted electronically through e-mail. Please submit your manuscript in an MS WORD document, double-spaced, in Times New Roman 12-font. Submissions should have page numbers and be limited to 20 pages of text in length plus up to 8 tables or figures. References and citations should follow the Journal of Business Research style. Please place all tables and figures at the end of the manuscript (following the references). The manuscripts title page should include the corresponding author’s name, affiliation, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address. Names and contact information for other authors should be included as well on the cover page. Information identifying the submission authors should only be listed on the title page. Conference papers presented at the International Conference on Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Management will be considered for a special edition of the Journal of Business Research(SSCI).

All the participants of the Fall 2013 Workshop are invited to present their papers (for free because workshop participants have already paid for the workshop) at the Spring 2014(GEIM) Conference. In addition, the conference will welcome the regular participants. Afterwards, papers will be selected for the special issue of Journal of Business Research from the papers submitted to the 2014 GEIM Conference. Full Registration fee for the 2014 GEIM conference is: USD 500.

The fee includes conference proceedings, paper presentation, lunch, and dinner during the conference. Once you have completed registration, payment should be completed by bank transfer. The receipt of the transfer should be sent to the conference accountants. Only after taking these three steps, registration will be valid.

Papers accepted for the conference will be grouped with similar papers for session presentations. At least one co-author must present the paper at the Conference for the paper to be considered for the Journal of Business Research special issue. Conference acceptance does not guarantee inclusion in the special issue of Journal of Business Research. Double blind reviewing in March/April will be used to determine which papers will be included in the special issue of the Journal of Business Research.

Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference and be accompanied by paid registration. All participants (including doctoral participants and co-author) must pay the registration fees (USD 500). The registration fees include attendance at all conference sessions, conference materials, conference lunches, refreshment breaks, lunch (May 14-15, 2014), and the dinner (May 15, 2014). The optional tour package (not included in the registration fees) is available for all conference registrants and guests.
