Introduction
Co-Editors and ERB members are sought for the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research
We have a few vacancies on the Editorial Board of JTAER starting in 2014 (i.e. Membership; Co-Editorship). If you have interest in contributing to our journal and credentials in the "electronic commerce" field and would like to serve on the Editorial Board, please contact the Editor-in-Chief at ncerpa@utalca.cl. The Editorial Board membership will be for a period of 3 years, starting from January 1, 2014, and may be reappointed to a second three-year term after evaluation.
The main responsibilities of the Editorial Board membership include contributing to defining the strategic direction, policies and procedures for the journal, reviewing papers, organizing special issues, attracting quality papers, suggesting other Editorial Board members who are team players, proposing and attracting good reviewers, among others.
The main responsibility of the Co-Editor is to manage the review process, edition and publication of three high quality issues of the Journal in April, August, and December of each year. Additional responsibilities of the Co-Editor are developing journal strategies, setting policies and procedures, negotiating journal abstracting and indexing with organizations providing abstracting services, negotiating publication of special issues, attracting good quality papers for publication in the journal, finding and attracting good Editorial Board members and reviewers.
The committee seeks individuals who are considered research leaders and internationally renowned scholars in their chosen discipline. With respect to intellectual interests, the JTAER Co-Editor should have familiarity with technical and/or business related issues of electronic commerce.

- Current CV that includes personal information, contact email address, current position, affiliation, highest academic degree, publications, project, patents, reviewer/membership role in other journals, expertise, and other relevant items.
- Provide a description of EB membership/Co-Editorship experience with scholarly journals or other type of publications.
- Provide statement of interest, potential contribution, and availability to serve as Editorial Board member/Co-Editor, including a description of anticipated academic and professional responsibilities for the next three years.
- Provide a statement of editorial philosophy, including views on editorial policy, directions the journal should follow, and description of and approach to working with the Editor, Co-Editors, EB members, and reviewers.
- Brief description of Institutional commitment for the support of the editorial office for the next three years.
The due date for nomination/application is August 30, 2013, and the results will be announced in December 2013.
