Perreault IOSIG Award Winner
Introduction
William D. Perreault, Jr. is the recipient of the 2013 IOSIG Lifetime Achievement Award
Professor William D. Perreault, Jr., the William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor of Marketing, Kenan-Flagler Busines School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is the recipient of the 2013 IOSIG Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award committee–comprised of Jan B. Heide (University of Wisconsin and Committee Chair), Sandy Jap (Emory University), and Robert Palmatier (University of Washington)–based their selection on Bill’s overwhelming academic and professional impact on the field of interorganizational research, as evidenced by his winning the O’Dell Award, the Stern Award, and having close to 9,000 citations in Google Scholar. Besides his research contributions, Bill has also been the Editor of the Journal of Marketing Research and an Associate Editor for Management Science. His contributions to pedagogy have not been overlooked as Bill has won various teaching awards, published textbooks on marketing and chaired many doctoral dissertations.
Please join the IOSIG on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in the Provincetown Room at 5:30 p.m. to honor Bill’s 40 years of contributions to the interorganizational field.
