Behavior Change Programs

Introduction

Governments Driving Behaviour Change - It Really Is Possible, Brisbane, 21 Jun 2013

Governments driving behaviour change – it really is possible!

In collaboration with the Department of Premier and Cabinet, and sponsored by Colmar Brunton, we are proud to invite you to our second Network and Learn Series event for 2013.

With active efforts by governments across Australia to influence our behaviour are we really eating better, drinking less, reducing deaths and injuries on our roads and waters, reading to our babies and toddlers … and the list goes on.

We are pleased to have Colmar Brunton’s CEO, Joan Young, to help us explore the keys to success in our government behaviour change programs. Fresh from the World Social Marketing Conference in Toronto Canada and with a bevy of practical case studies from her many years of behaviour change work, Joan will fire us up with her passion for the sometimes forgotten art of disciplined strategy in social marketing.

After Joan has reignited our love for strategic campaign and program planning, AASM president Rebekah Russell-Bennett will facilitate an experienced panel to discuss and debate the role of social marketing in government policy and explore the key ingredients that will achieve meaningful behaviour change.

There will be plenty of time to ask questions and explore the issues facing all of us who work within and with government.
