Watchmaking Marketing
Introduction
8th Research Seminar in Watchmaking Marketing, Neuch?tel, Switzerland, 6 Nov 2013; Deadline 16 Jun
8th JOURNEE DE RECHERCHE EN MARKETING HORLOGER
(Research seminar in watchmaking marketing)
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Association des Journées Internationales du Marketing Horloger and the Haute école de gestion Arc (Neuchatel School of Management) organise the 8th Research seminar in watchmaking marketing with the theme of:
« After sales service: new demands »
Wednesday November 6, 2013, Haute école de gestion Arc, Espace de l’Europe 21, 2000 NEUCHÂTEL (Switzerland)
The positioning of the seminar
In collaboration with the AFM (Association française du marketing) and Swissmarketing (Club marketing suisse), the Association des Journées Internationales du Marketing Horloger (JIMH) and the Haute école de gestion Arc organise the 8th Seminar of applied research dedicated to watchmaking marketing within the framework of the 17th Journées Internationales du Marketing Horloger.
The seminar, to be held in the Campus Arc 1 of the Haute École de gestion Arc, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, (Amphi H030), has a double objective:
- To discuss the latest academic works on the role of the services around the products, including after sales, to develop the relationship with the customer;
- To promote specifically the work of researchers and professionals implementing approaches and marketing tools to serve the watchmaking industry.
This symposium is open to academics and practitioners. Original approaches of a methodological or practical point of view will be appreciated by the Scientific Committee, especially if they lead to managerial applications.
Research Themes
Fields of application subject of a communication may be varied: "After sales service" here must be heard in a broad sense and include not only repairs, but also all activities likely to retain customers and to strengthen their commitment to the product and the brand (customer relationship management). Similarly, a purely marketing approach is not the only one possible: sociological, ethnological, cultural, IT, or other methods (as transdisciplinary approaches and benchmarking outside the watchmaking world) are encouraged.
Publication
The selected works will be published in the form of a book similar to the collection of marketing horloger, published by the LEP editions (). These works remain properties of the Association des Journées du Marketing Horloger, but can be reused by their respective authors with the indication of the source « 8th Journée de Recherche en Marketing Horloger ».
