Conjoint Analysis

Introduction

Philip Truscott seeks an expert in conjoint measurement for a co-authorship opportunity

CONJOINT ENTHUSIAST NEEDED FOR COMPARATIVE STUDY – JOINT AND EQUAL AUTHORSHIP

I am about to start an Internet based survey of Indian Mobile Application Software developers. They will be answering questions about Smartphones. The intention is to compare CONJOINT with one or two self-explicated measurement techniques using the same attributes, levels and respondent pool. Our respondent incentive funding is quite generous. We have purchased enough incentives to pay each respondent 1,000 Rupees of electronic money (Flipkart.com gift vouchers) as each person finishes the study. Though 1,000 Indian Rupees only equates to about 18 US Dollars using a direct currency exchange, in ratio to per capita GDP this is worth more than 100 USD to a typical Indian.

I have been advised that eventually I will be more likely to find a journal to publish this if I can find a genuine CONJOINT enthusiast in the academic community to oversee the CONJOINT part of the comparison. Provided you can implement your version of CONJOINT with the official Sawtooth software any version of CONJOINT is acceptable. We can afford to have 170 respondents in each cell of the comparison (CONJOINT plus the two self-explicated methods). I propose joint and equal authorship credit among 3 authors each overseeing the three methodologies compared.

Best Wishes,

Phil
