Georgia State University
Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
August 28-30, 2013
Doctoral students in business-to-business programs from universities around the world are welcome to participate in the IMP 2013 Doctoral Consortium. As you can see from the program on the next page, the three day event will be divided between seminars (on marketing theory, analytical and case research techniques and paper writing) and student presentations (see the general layout below).
The aim of the IMP Doctoral Consortium is to create a forum for deep, informal discussions between PhD students interested in IMP research and experienced IMP researchers. Additionally, a primary goal of this year’s consortium is to bring traditional IMP European-based doctoral students together with B2B marketing doctoral students from the United States, Asia and South America to begin the development of global research networks that will investigate all aspects of B2B marketing around the world.
The IMP Doctoral Consortium takes place August 28-30, 2013; i.e. during three days immediately prior to the main IMP conference August 31 – September 2, 2013.
If you are interested in participating in the IMP Doctoral Consortium in Atlanta in 2013, please submit as hort version (3-5 pages) of your PhD proposal including following aspects:
- Research area
- Overall research problem
- Use of theory and methodology

Send the brief proposal no later than March 1, 2013 to plaplaca@journalimm.com. If your brief proposal is accepted, a full proposal (15-20 pages) must be submitted no later thanJune 1, 2013.
