Introduction

ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Summer Marketing Educators' 2013 Conference, Boston, 9?11 Aug 2013, Chairs David A. Griffith and Rebecca Slotegraaf; Deadline 28 Jan

Only three weeks until the submission deadline!

The theme of this year’s ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference is “Innovating and Collaborating in a Global Marketplace.” Today’s global landscape is continually shifting to place new demands on companies as they strive to offer a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The marketplace necessitates continual innovation in terms of market offerings where consumers, suppliers, and other stakeholders are expecting more significant value delivery from an increasingly competitive set of firms throughout the world.

Accordingly, we welcome papers, special sessions, and posters that address the theme of innovating and collaborating with new and insightful theories and methodologies. We encourage scholars to engage the theme from a broad perspective, and how innovation and collaboration can have a true impact on the world in which we live.

The conference venue, Boston Marriott Copley Place, is located in the heart of Boston, MA, offering easy access to historical and cultural sites, institutions of higher learning, and dining options. The Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference will be held in conjunction with ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Academic Placement and feature high-quality networking opportunities.

Co-chairs for the conference are David A. Griffith, LeHigh University and Rebecca Slotegraaf, Indiana University. Inquiries related to the conference can be sent to mweingarden@ama.org.
