Attention Marketing Doctoral Students,

I hope you had a very successful fall semester. If you plan to attend Winter ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø in Las Vegas from February 15th – 17th, NOW is the time for you to register for the Doctoral Symposium on Friday, February 15th from 7:30-12:30. The theme for this year’s symposium is “Path to Publishing”. We are very fortunate this year to have a number of highly esteemed faculty members on hand to discuss a variety of important topics. This year’s sessions include:

  • Your Research Stream: Laser focus or Potpourri?
    • Dr. Ron Hill, Villanova University
  • Selecting the Right Journal for your Manuscript and your Career
    • Dr. Dip Biswas, University of South Florida and Dr. Katherine White, University of British Columbia
  • Top Five Reasons Your Manuscript got Rejected
    • Dr. Debbie MacInnnis, University of Southern California and Dr. Ajay Kohli, Georgia Tech University
  • B to A: Making the Journal Leap
    • Dr. Douglas Bowman, Emory University and Dr. Americus Reed, University of Pennsylvania

Culminating the symposium is a discussion led by the editor of the Journal of Marketing, and our keynote speaker, Dr. Gary Frazier. Dr. Frazier will lead a session title “Emerging Research Trends: How to Lead and Should We Follow?”. A complimentary box lunch will be provided.
