Weighted AdPrin Audit software available
The AdPrin Audit, which rates the extent to which an ad follows persuasion principles, now provides scores with weights based on (1) the coder’s judgment that a principle is important to the situation, (2) the amount and quality of prior research, and (3) the effect size, based mostly on prior research.
Advertisers and their agencies can use it to assess how well a print, TV, or Internet advertisement follows persuasion principles. This can use this to develop more persuasive ads.
Improvements were made in the Self-Training Module to reduce training time (around 90 minutes previously). Finally, the explanations for the rating sheets have been clarified. These changes will improve the accuracy of the ratings and reduce the current average rating time of 25 minutes per ad.
The software is free.
