The Summer ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø conference in Chicago (August 17-19th) is fast approaching! Don’t miss the activities planned specifically for doctoral students. There is extremely limited capacity for these events, and there are only a few remaining seats. Register now for both the Friday and Saturday sessions.


Overview of Events


Friday, 8/17 from 10:15am-4:45pm: These PhD Project sessions are focused on navigating the job market and planning your career. The Journal of International Marketing?s Editor-In-Chief, Dr. David Griffith, will be speaking at lunch. Less than 20 seats are left – register Now!

Saturday, 8/18 at 7:30am: It?s the popular ?Mentors? Continental Breakfast? where you have the opportunity to meet with faculty from ten different schools ? people who are on interviewing committees, can easily relate to being a doctoral student, and who may become your future research partners. Less than 20 seats are left -register now!

Saturday, 8/18 from 3:30-5:00PM: Make sure to find the ?right? school for you and your career. At this special session, you?ll learn how from Dr. Michael Brady, Dr. Tomas Hult, Dr. Alan Malter, and Rebecca Dingus. Open to all DocSIG members.


Saturday, 8/18 from 5:00-9:00pm: As a member of DocSIG, you?ll also be able to attend another SIG reception for free and network with other doctoral students over dinner. Open to all DocSIG members.


Saturday, 8/18 from 9:00pm ? 11:00pm (boarding starts at 8:45pm): Consumer Behavior SIG Fireworks Boat Cruise on the Chicago River Co-Sponsored by the Retailing & Pricing SIG and the Marketing & Society SIG. For a $20 per person fee, this event includes an open bar and desert reception
