ELMAR Job Posting Process

Please review the process before you post a job notice and read why you should also use the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Academic Placement service

For a "normal posting" you can simply email me the relevant content. The ELMAR job posting process, in contrast, requires that you execute two different steps.

  1. The job document (or advertisement) must be online. The ideal situation is for the document to be on university Web storage. Similarly, the document could be attached to a faculty member’s home page or Google Disk, for example. 
  2. Enter the URL for the job document, along with some other information, here:

Once you complete step 2, I will automatically receive a notice and I will then queue up your ELMAR posting. ELMAR job postings generally go out on Wednesday morning, US East Coast time.

I would ask that ELMAR subscribers not utilize professional search firms to execute their ELMAR job posting. In the past I have had to struggle mightily to help such firms successfully post ELMAR job notices.

In the event that your university does not provide Web space and you don’t want to use some other free storage service you can use ELMAR Web space. This is moderately non-user-friendly but I did make a game attempt to explain it here:

Please note that an ELMAR job posting is not the same as posting your job with . The latter offers a useful variety of added value services of great benefit to both schools (employers) and job seekers (employees). The ELMAR service is a "bare bones" minimal service for employers only.
