We are looking for a few innovative submissions for an edited book under the Advances in International Marketing series through Emerald Press. The book is focused on interdisciplinary work that has some international marketing connection. Our preferences are on ideas related to design, innovation, branding and would love some social entrepreneurship or sustainability implications…but we are open to a wide range of ideas.
This as a chance to publish some innovative work that you are proud of but unlikely to be accepted in a top tier journal. The contributions featured in the Advances in International Marketing may incorporate ideas, analyses, or techniques considered too radical by other refereed journals. All submissions submitted for publication undergo a double-blind review process. Series Editor Shaoming Zou (University of Missouri, USA zou@missouri.edu) and I (serving as Issue Co-editor) are looking to publish an edited book of at least 95,000 words – this roughly translates into 12-15 papers. The timing of this breaks down as follows:
- Initial submission Dec 29
First round reviews returned Jan 1
Second round submission Jan 16
Final decisions and minor revision requests Feb 6
Delivery of manuscripts to publisher Feb 15
Production of book May
