Faculty from Virginia Commonwealth University and the non-profit Georgia R School () are teaching three live, online, interactive short courses on R software beginning in November:

  1. Using R for statistical research analyses:

    At 6PM-9PM ET Nov 16-Dec 14 (see );

    At 11AM-2PM ET Nov 17-Dec 15 (see );

  2. PLS path modeling with R @ 11AM-2PM ET Nov 18-Dec 16 (see );

  3. Generalized linear (GLM) and additive modeling (GAM) with R:

    At 11AM-2PM ET Nov 21-Dec 13

    (see );

    At 6PM-9PM ET Nov 22-Dec 13 (see );

Each live course is recorded in entirety and the permanent recordings are provided to participants. Registration costs are $225 student; $295 faculty and $325 practitioner.

Each class also has an ‘attendance-optional’ orientation ‘pre-session’ one week before the first ‘real’ class to get anyone who needs it oriented to the electronic classroom and to help them install R, if needed. There is more information at .
